One of the world’s largest carmakers, Fiat S.p.A. is an Italian automobile manufacturer originally founded in 1899 by Giovanni Agnelli. Wide global distributions and sales can be attributed to Fiat’s international production and long list of subsidiaries. The company currently owns majority stock in Ferrari, Maserati, Fiat Group Automobiles (Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Lancia), and Chrysler Group LLC. (Dodge, Jeep, Ram Trucks, and Mopar). Fiat’s latest automotive venture is an alliance with Mazda to provide development and production of a new roadster that will be used by Mazda and Alfa Romeo.
