When Glastron purchased North American Yachts in the 1970s, Spirit Yachts was created as a distributor for some well-regarded sailing vessels. Spirit Yachts/Glastron offered a 21-foot and 23-foot fiberglass sailboat offering cozy, basic cabins for weekend sailing. Spirit Yachts/Glastron sailboats were produced from 1978 until the end of the 1981 model year.
