Nowak and Williams Company manufactured a combination of sailboat and powerboats in Bristol, Rhode Island through the 1970s. Earning a good reputation for their sailing vessel constructed from Herreshoff designs, Nowak and Williams Company watercraft were built based on an 18-foot hull. Following the 1980 closure of the Nowak and Williams Company, Squadron Yachts would continue to build watercraft several years afterwards.
